Hibox Mountain

May 16, 2015. Myself with 8 others summited with quite good weather (no rain, sun breaks, mostly cloudy). We took the standard route, leaving the Rachel Lake TH at 8:10 AM, back at 4:40, so 8.5 hour trip. With the low snow season we only had a few patches of snow near the summit- at about 5500 ft. and higher. We did get to use our ice axes tho. There was snow on the ridge, but not on the actual summit block, rock was good and not wet. Some peekaboo views at the top. Good group, took turns route finding and helping some of the less experienced scramblers.
