Hadley Peak

We did a "ScramSki" trip up Hadley. Taking FR 33 (although not maintained it was great for our Outback) we started early at 7am and headed up Cougar Ridge connecting with Chowder Ridge by 9am. We dropped out skis at the top of Hadley Glacier at 11:00 and headed for the summit reaching that by 11:30. Enjoyed lunch under the watchful eye of Baker and the gathering clouds - plus we spotted a fellow skier below on the Glacier. Heading down we reached the Glacier and ski stash by 12:30 and were ready to ski by 1:00. Down, to the left and then skiing, walking until the last little bit of the run. From there we headed up to the Cougar Ridge trail and back to the car by 3:30pm - thunder and showers coming at about 5pm I guess, well after we were down the road.
