Forbidden Peak/West Ridge

Snow is in the couloir to a point just near the lower bivy spots; route was snow-free as of May 31. Great climb- suggest considering simul-climbing the first 120-180 meters; we pitched everything out which took about 4 hours up, with the beginning pitches very moderate as described in the guidebooks. Only met two other parties on our climb day; Boston Basin is snow-free until the camping spots.
