Esmeralda Peaks

We had a group of 8 on 10/25/15. At the switchbacks and the giant boulder we took a pretty direct route slightly NE to the col between the 2 West summits. Took 3 hours to get to the top. Tagged both which is pretty easy then returned more or less the same descent route. With a relatively casual pace we did it in under 6 hours. We had a forecast of 20% light rain for the 1st part of the day increasing to 80% heavy rain around 4pm. We had returned by 3:30pm and had only a few light drops on the way out.
