Eldorado Peak/Inspiration Glacier

This trip happened 3/19-3/20.
As a group of 7 we attempted Eldorado peak as winter climb from Eldorado creek trailhead. Heavy, wet, cement type snow, avalanche factors and weather expected to come in on Sunday drove the group decision of not continuing beyond Eldorado creek ridge. We camped in the Eldorado basin and hiked out on Sunday morning. Cascade river road was drivable without major obstacles but be aware that it will be closed 4/3-5/13 at mile 7.
