Trip Report

Eagle Creek to Tunnel Falls

We had a beautiful, warm morning to start our hike up the Eagle Creek trail to Tunnel Falls and beyond to Corkscrew Falls. The trailhead was quite crowded as we departed at 9:15am. We kept a 2.2 mike per hour pace even though we stopped for pictures of the various falls next to the trail. Wildflowers were abundant along the trail. Everyone in our group was in awe of the tremendous power of Tunnel Falls. We stopped just beyond Corkscrew (twister) at 12:15 pm for lunch. We aggressively returned down the trail and finished our hike at 3:10pm.
