On July 11, Anno Domini 2014, we launched from Washington Park – just after the start of the flood. We had a beautiful, if uneventful, crossing to Reef Point; then on to Strawberry Island, Lydia Shoal and Doe Island. Due to the high tide, there was barely room for our seven boats on the north beach of Doe Is. We were greeted to a 'Super Moon' all night. July 12: up at 0500; launch 0645; Pelican Beach 0815; Washington Park 1100. Conway Pub (barbecued oysters) 1230.
