Day Hike - West Tiger Mountain No. 3 Cable Line

We beat the crowds for a great morning conditioner

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • The road to the High Point trailhead and the parking lot are awesome - the fresh pavement makes a big difference. Trails in great shape (as great as Cable Line can be). 

Our small group of three hikers and one well-behaved dog (four heartbeats!) started at High Point trailhead a little after 7 and hiked on Tiger Mountain Trail (a nice warmup) to meet the Cable Line. We had Cable Line mostly to ourselves today. After a short break at the summit, we descended on the more mellow West Tiger #3 trail. Back at the cars by 10:15am.
