Day Hike - West Tiger Mountain No. 3

The view, the weather and fall color were all great. We had a good conditioner and a good time.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • The trail is in good shape.

No problems parking on a week day.  Discover pass required. No problems to report.

We had a clear day so the views of Seattle, Bellevue, Puget Sound, Lake Sammamish, the Olympics and Cascades incluing Mt. Baker and Mt. Ranier were excellent. The fall color was really good at the top, but leaves lower down hadn't turned yet. We hiked to West Tiger 3, then past Tiger 2 and onto the Hiker Hut at Tiger 1.
