The trail is in pretty good condition. Work is being done including a minor reroute. The bench at the first viewpoint is still closed for repairs. Of course there was mud, it had rained earlier in the day.
FYI: our Commercial Use Permit states: "Trail running and Hiking groups are discourged from using the Twin Falls Trail during the busy season (May-October) due [sic] overcrowding even on weekdays." This trail is a good choice for early and late season hiking. Discover Pass required.
We had a good evening. The trail along the river is pretty. Indian plum, Red flowering currant and Bleeding hearts are blooming. The view of the falls is always good. We had a good dinner spot overlooking the falls.
