Day Hike - Tronsen Ridge

We were the only party to experience the abundance of flowers and views this Friday. 

Lots of flowers slowed us down.  Some of us went 4 miles to Point 4870. 

Tweedy’s Lewisii were a highlight.  Thompson’s paintbrush, western blue clematis, scarlet gilia, Lyall’s mariposa, prairie star flower, three parted miterwort, and bitterroot were resplendent.  A western tanager provided some grace notes for a memorable hike.
