Day Hike - Snow Lake
A beautiful evening to hike to a gorgeous view of Snow Lake and surrounding peaks.

The trail is always rocky. All stream crossings are doable. There were a few snow patches to step around. Note: we went to the view above the lake. There is still a lot of snow on the trail that heads down to the lake.
Forest pass required. This is a huge lot, no problems parking. We enjoyed the view and flowers as we hiked up the trail. This is a good preseason conditioner. Once we attained the large rock above the lake, we stopped for dinner. The view is great, Snow Lake below surrounded by peaks. We enjoyed each other's company as we ate. Then we headed back down. Flowers are blooming on the trail on the way up. There were lots of Glacier lilies as we neard the first snow patches.
