Minor blowdown, no problem getting around, over or under. There was some compact snow and ice near the top. Half of us put our spikes on for a short stretch. We followed a side trail signed for Windy Landing. The trail was snow covered, I don't think we lost it, it just ended in heavy brush.
Such a clear day. It was wonderful to be in the sun. We had clear views of Mt. Baker, Glacier Peak, Mt. Rainier, the Olympics and of course Mt. Si and Teneriffe. We were also out for a winter conditioner. We maintained a steady pace and made a short stop for all viewpoints.
No permit needed at Rattlesnake Ledge. A Discover Pass is required at Snoqualmie Point. No problems parking on a Wednesday morning. We did encounter quite a few people in the afternoon as we descended from Rattlesnake Ledge. When we went back for the cars at Snoqualmie Point, the lot was filling up with cars with bike racks.
