Beautiful day at Rachel Lake, trail surprisingly uncrowded given the number of vehicles in the lot.

Trail had standing water or running water only in a few places. The steep, rocky & rooty mile just before the lake is still steep, rocky & rooty with many opportunities to trip.
Fun hiking group. At lunch one person swam in the lake. After lunch we all gorged on berries.
