Day Hike - Poo Poo Point via High School Trail

Classic hike to a popular view.

  • The trail is in great condition. It is slightly muddy in places and some downed trees but it's very manageable.

Parking/Driving

The drive to/from Issaquah High School was good once on I-90. If coming from the Eastside, I-405 has a large amount of construction this weekend that was making travel along I-405 difficult.

Parking at Issaquah High School was no problem. There were plenty of spots available.

Trip Details

The hike was a standard out-and-back from Issaquah High School to Poo Poo Point via the High School trail. There were plenty of people on the trail despite there being few cars parked at the high school. The weather was cool which helped with this hike having a lot of elevation gain. Once at Poo Poo Point, we had a clear view to the surrounding area. There weren't any paragliders at the time we reached the summit around 11 AM.
