Day Hike - Mount Erie: Sugerloaf & Heart Lake

Winter weather advisory reports for Cascades and low lands so we hiked the ACFL trails.  Could only convince a few to hike in forecasted rain.  Loaded packs with water weight and headed up. Trails are marked, mostly.  Did Sugarloaf then dropped back down before ascending #207.  As one heads up #216 there are several shortcuts.  When #216 nears the road, more unmarked trails but all lead up!  Windy at summit then returned to trees.  Light rain as we reached the TH, good timing.  Chilly and dry.  Not a Mt Si workout but great eats on the way home.  Good times.  Passed five hikers going up.  No one else on trails.  Waiting for warmer weather to climb routes.
