The trail has been cleared of all blowdown. It is in really good shape. There was mud of course due to recent rain.
No one reported problems with the drive to the trailhead. 10 am seems like a good time to avoid traffic. This is a King Co. Park and no permit is needed. The weather forecast was for sunny starting at 10 am. We never did see the sun, but were thankful there was no rain. I was suprised that we saw quite a few groups of hikers on a Monday. Our group was happy to be out and kept up a good moderte pace.
