A short but interesting hike. The weather, as anticipated, was wet but not bad.

The weather was cloudy and cool in the morning. By afternoon sun had come out. The route, given all the rain we had been having, was muddy.
A fair number of cars in the parking lot. Garbage cans are need, since the parking area was a mess.
I started out with a full complement and people on the waiting list. However the day of the hike I ended up with just three hikers.
