Great group and good conditions for our 2025 After-hours kickoff hike.

Every time I am back on this trail, I see more trail improvements. There are now stairs on the steepest sections. The risk of tripping on roots has been greatly reduced. Of course the trail is still muddy if it rains and it has been raining.
We had a fine time in the woods. The forecast had not been good. But we only had sprinkles on the way back. It was nice to have it dry when we ate dinner. There was lots of good fellowship. Signs of spring included Service berry and Cherry trees in bloom. Far Country Falls had as much water as I have ever seen there.
