The Laughingwater Creek trail is in excellent condition with no blowdowns, washouts, or other obstructions. It's a nice, soft surface for at least 90% of the way to Three Lakes with gentle elevation gain. Parking is somewhat limited along the road near the trailhead, room for maybe 10 or 12 cars. I recommend carpooling. Bathrooms are available at the Ohanapecosh CG when it's open.
Beautiful lush green hike yesterday amidst 6+ miles of old growth trees. We enjoyed a peaceful, quiet lunch at three wonderful lakes! This is a fabulous hike for folks who appreciate and enjoy the rare and tranquil environment of an elderly forest. Topped off the day with a visit to nearby lovely Silver Falls. We hiked close to 14 miles rt with 3,000' gain including our side trip to Silver Falls. Lots of laughing and fun along the way 
You have to be there to appreciate this gorgeous area of our favorite park!
