Day Hike - Granite Mountain Trail

We went about halfway up Granite Mountain to get to a good viewpoint for our sack dinner. This was an after-hours trip and going to the top would have had us back too late. This way we did get to some alpine terrain.  Flowers are only starting. There was some Lupine and Bear grass blooming in the meadow and Wild ginger in the forest.
