Day Hike - Grand Park (Mount Rainier)
Flowers just getting started, some nice lupine, bistort, beargrass in the park meadows and paintbrush just starting to show. Mtn was in the clouds today, nice breeze kept mosquitoes away but they are hungry in the forest areas.

Trail has several very muddy sections from the FS road to Lk Eleanor, trail is getting braided in these areas. First meadow east of Lk has some mud but NOT 4 in. deep. Went to junction with N. rim trail.
