Trail was in good condition. There are some roots and rocks to step carefully around.
Parking is at a neighborhood park, so no parking pass is required. Starting here gives several miles of hiking before reaching the beach, which makes the nicest lunch spot.
Most of the trails are in the forest which was vibrant with all the green new growth. Blooming were salal, salmonberry, thimbleberry, black cap, Solomon's Plume and miner's lettuce.

We also saw evidence of Mountain Beaver

We had a pretty low tide at the beach
