Another surprisingly nice day on the trail in spite of a stormy weather forecast!

The entire trail is in great condition, only a couple of easy to step over trees down. A lot of moss everywhere!
My group of six started hiking at 9:00 under cloudy skies. A few bits of rain here and there on the way to the Overlook, but also hints of sun. We then enjoyed a nice half hour of warm sunshine at the Overlook while having lunch. Then decided to head down as rain approached, and walked only about the last mile in a summer-like shower. It wasn't cold, so it actually felt nice. Most of us didn't even put on our rain jackets, but it was a wet drive home. Overall, a really nice hike with four intrepid Olympia CHS students!
