Trip Report

Cashmere Mountain

August 9th trip, car to car in 10:45 with excellent weather (cool & breezy). Departed trail at 6600, dropped down 50' and across / up the grassy slopes to ridge line leading up to main ridge. Steady progress ascending to the summit block. Went around back and climbed a gully too soon which brought us to technical terrain on the ridge-line. Descended then continued further around the back and the next gulley we tried brought us to the correct notch which allowed us to weave between gendarmes to the final class three section up to a narrow and airy summit.

Excellent views with a quick lunch and then a very efficient decent to the cars.
