Camp Muir & Anvil Rock

Due to car problems, we got a late start. Left the Paradise parking lot around 9:30. The trail was snow free to Pebble creek. The weather was quite windy and variable, with the mountain frequently appearing and disappearing in clouds. Sometimes we basked in glorious sunshine and sometimes visibility fell to less than 100 feet. Due to the late start and concerns about the weather, we chose to make Anvil Rock our destination. We started our descent at 2:30. We enjoyed Nepalese food at the Wild Berry on the drive home!
