Trip Report

Cady Creeek & Little Wenatchee River Loop

Enjoy some of the most scenic sections of Pacific Crest Trail from Cady Pass to Kodak Peak. Went in counter-clockwise direction camping at Meander Meadows and Pass Creek.

  • Road rough but passable
  • Last 2.5 mi is one lane with turn-outs. Road is rough - recommend moderate clearance such as SUV.

Parking area is small so carpool recommended. Toilet at trailhead but no paper. NW Forest Pass required.

The trail has been trimmed some but is still seriously overgrown. Going counter-clockwise we went up Little Wenatchee River and camped first night at Meander Meadows. There was ample room and very few campers since it is well off the PCT. Good water was very close and the campground had a toilet as well.

The second night we camped at Pass Creek Campground. There was very good water close by and the campground had a toilet as well, but there were a lot of thru hikers using the campground. Nonetheless we had no trouble finding enough sites for our party of 6 hikers.
