This is a short hike with a lot of interesting scenes along the way. You get the forest and beach experience along with marshes, ponds and the critters that make it their home.

I would say this trail is technical footwork on the paths. Lots of rocks, and roots. I would encourage poles. It was sunny and dry this day, but I've been when is raining and it can get very slippery.

A lovely network of trails around Bowman Bay. We started at Rosario Beach. I highly recommend downloading a copy of the trail map. There are lots of branching interconnected pathways. Even with a downloaded map we still made a wrong turn. Luckily they are short so going in the wrong direction doesn’t take too much time. We found lots of birds on Rosario head including goldfinches, a bald eagle, violet green sparrows & more. Lots of invasive yellow Scot’s broom in bloom as well.
