Bikepack - Lost Lake
Midweek ride with clockwise loop road ride to Lost Lake.

Road was decent condition for being a gravel road. Uphill was met with graceful consistent climb - nothing too too steep and no large blowdowns or holes or obstacles. Once at the top of the hill - way down north of the Gravel Pit was met with smaller single track style riding with 4-5” sized rock mini gardens to manage. However we all were able to stay on the bikes.
Definitely recommended doing loop over much shorter and relatively flat road via Lost Lake Road which was day 2. First day we were chanced with beautiful sun and views both to nearby Tinkham and Silver and further away Stuart. Lake camping was also nice despite a bit of trash left behind by the beer tottin, baby diaper, and cigarette smoking groups before us. That said there was a clean Honeybucket sani can, and clean spots for tents and hammocks. Lake is relatively easy approach from camp spot to left of parking lot. Midweek is time to visit as it’s heard that weekends the aforementioned groups visit and I’m not sure would be welcomed neighbors.
