Basic Snowshoe - Mazama Ridge

We had a party cloudy day with some moody skies but then the sky opened up a bit as the day continued. We were originally going to do Narada Falls to Reflection Lake but that road is pretty bare. Instead we walked down the road from the Paradise parking lot which still had plenty of snow. We saw lots of waterfalls along the way.

We had to be careful of the creeks, which are easy to spot give the low snow, and we made sure to cross them on the trails. There was some steep sections of snow but with some careful route finding it wasn't too bad making it to Mazama Ridge. Despite the low snow year it was fairly pristine out there as we recently had a storm, and we only saw about 4 people the whole day. Overall lots of great views and company.
