Trail was clear and generally in good condition. The climbers trail from the pass to Slippery Slab is just slightly on the near side of the pass.

Mountain Project route photos are helpful for identifying the correct route start etc.
It took us 2h40m to hike to the base of the route and about 2h20m to hike out.
We climbed the route as a team of 5. 4 basic students and one climb leader. Here is how we did it, and it worked quite well. We used a half/twin 60m rope setup. I led on both ropes. One student belayed on each rope. I tried to place excess protection so that each rope had several pieces per pitch to clean and rack. Since the pitches are so short, the first two students tied in short, at about mid rope. I then belayed them up in ATC guide mode, and they climbed about 30ft apart. When they got to the belay ledge, they clipped into the anchor with their PAS and untied from the rope. The second two students were tied into the end of the rope and then climbed up. For the second pitch, they rotated positions so that each had an opportunity to lead belay and climb while cleaning the route. We could rappel the route in one rap with the twin ropes from the top anchor.
Total time climbing, on top, and rappelling was about 3 hours.
It looks like there could be a ton of additional routes in the area. Perhaps a weekend of camping at the lake and then exploring alternate routes.
