Basic Alpine Climb - Unicorn Peak/South Side
Rescheduled from the Brothers. A routine early season climb, with lots of snow.

Snow begins at trailhead, and is in great shape all the way to summit. Moat at the col is challenging but passable. We climbed into the moat and traversed over a few feet to get on the ledge that cuts over climber's left and then switchbacks up to the gap. There is sketchy snow bridge which we chose not to attempt. Several groups skiied the route and only had to carry short distances.
Road is open to trailhead. Great weather, perfect snow conditions, firm on the ascent, softening nicely for the descent with a lovely glissade. Nice views and a great intro to climbing for students.
