Basic Alpine Climb - Silver Star Mountain/Silver Star Glacier

1 day climb of Silver Star.  13 hours car to car, started around 4:30am.  There is no road sign marking Silver Star as it says in the route description.  Around the 166 mile mark there is a broad pullout, look for the boot path on the North end of the pullout next to the first large tree. Once you find the trail head register box follow trail to the river, bushwhack ~100ft upstream and find the best log to cross, then bushwhack back to pickup the trail again.  Easy to loose the bootpath towards the col.  Other than that a pretty straight forward approach. 2 ways to reach the summit block.  Once you get ~40ft below the summit block options are to go left or right.  Going around the left leads to the 5th class move you might want to protect with slings.   Going right leads to a short exposed ramp then easy scrambling to the summit.  Some might like a handline here for the exposed step around the ramp.
