Bandera Mountain

This was an after hours hike up Bandera Mountain on 5/6/2015, gaining 3,000' in 4 hours. Just a few patchs of new snow high up. The summit was typical for early May, foggy with a chill north wind. But on the way down the sun peaked out below the clouds illuminating the forest below us like a glowing patterned carpet.
