The designated upfill route to the top of Pacific Crest is in good shape.
Descending along the chair line of the Pacific Crest lift had good coverage and loose granular snow that skied well. We skied skiers left from the patrol shack around to avoid the crowded start where 90% the lift skiers start their runs. There was one section with a few exposed rocks -- this is right along the ascent route, so remembering that keeping skiers left on that steeper section avoided the rocks. There was heavy fog all night -- so skiing right under the chair provided the best lighting.
A few open creeks to watch out for crossing from Pacific Crest over to Julies to return to the uphill route -- watching out for beginners descending Julies also important for safety.
I took one group and Chris took another -- our groups we out of phase -- so we never actually skied together. My group was mostly in phase with a group from the WAC .
