Conditions: Excellent, with trail bare and wet to about 3200 ft, then fresh snow to a max of about 3 inches in open areas. A pleasant and quiet midweek hike on this winter Wednesday, social pace. The trip was led as a hike rather than a snowshoe, and the elevation gain was 1900 rather than 1400 ft.
