Route is in good condition. Logs across streams for easy crossing. Although there was snow in the area, we stayed on the rocks and didn't cross any snow.
Monday scramble trip avoided the crowds on Vesper. We started on the trail just before 8AM. There were a few cars already parked at the end of the road but we never ran into the hikers that left before us.
We got to the summit around 12:30. Despite the wonderful weather, views were obscured by smoke from the ongoing fires. Air quality was noticeably poor at the summit.
We we back at the cars before 5PM. Great scramble with a fantastic group!
