Great scramble in the North Cascades, about 2 hrs 15 minutes from Seattle.  The first 4 miles is all trail and a obvious boot path leads to the summit, some exposure and a little scramblesque in places.  There is lots of room at the summit and there are great views in all directions, well worth the effort and the drive.  As we returned to the cars we started to hear the thunder, so good timing on our part.  About 7.5 hrs car to car.  The road is quite rough and bumpy, all vehicles at the trailhead were high clearance except for one sedan.
