Alpine Scramble - Putrid Pete's Peak + Defiance

We did an after hours run at two peaks.  We left Ira Springs around 4:45, the crux is definitely getting out of Seattle and to the trailhead on time.  Made quick progress up the trail and out onto P3 summit.  The traverse from P3 to Defiance trail was an unknown, we stuck primarily on the right ridge side.  Rock here could be very unstable, so take your time and ensure no one traverses below others.  Eventually we met up with a climber trail and followed it to Defiance main trail.  Quick run up to the summit left a long slog down Mason Lake trail back to cars.  At parking lot a bit after 11.   Beware of bugs.  Lots of bugs on the ridge.
