Alpine Scramble - Nordic Pass

Nordic Pass on snowshoes was plan B (replacing Pratt Mountain scramble) due to weather and avalanche conditions. Given fresh fluffy snow, we didn't quite make it to the destination but we did set a record: 5 1/2 h to "almost" get to Hyak lake from Hyak parking lot. It was very slow going braking trail in armpit deep (in places) fresh powder. Great first day out in real fresh powder for this season.
