There are a lot of trip reports on the Kaleetan South route, so I'll mostly mention a few gotchas and surprises. The last time I was on this trail was in 2021 and there was a faint, hard to follow climber trail. With the foot traffic in the last few years it's now a proper wide trail that requires far less navigation. Due to the same traffic and the rain, the trail has eroded enough in places where bare rock is visible and there are a few more spots that require some class 2-3 scrambling.
There's one spot at around 5100 ft that eroded into a rock chimney that's about 5ft tall and ends on top of a steep loose rock trail. It requires 2-3 downclimbing moves and can cause some pause to a newer scrambler. Here are a few pics, though the camera doesn't do it much justice:
