Alpine Scramble - Goat Island Mountain (Mount Rainier)

 This was a consolation trip for a Little Tahoma climb that we cancelled because of incoming weather.

The route was in prime condition. I highly recommend doing the trip as a loop and doing the loop counter clockwise. One starts with a bushwhack, then rides the ridge with a constant view on Little Tahoma, Rainier and plenty of snow and ice, then easy way down to the bridge over Fryingpan creek, and easy hike our via Wonderland trail. Better views this way. Also, the bushwhack is at the beginning and the hike out could not be easier.
