Alpine Scramble - Echo Rock

I think this should be a T5, need to be comfortable on loose rock, only for advanced students and grads

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • Snow about 1000' feet below peak, good climbers trail before snow.  Snow was soft enough we did not need crampons.

We approached via Knapsack pass, cuts off a couple of miles of trail, and around an hour of travel time.  12 miles, 4300' gain per GPS.  100 Peaks in MRNP is right on on route.  Fun scramble!
