Alpine Scramble - Burroughs Mountain & Skyscraper Mountain
Strenuous/beautiful scramble of ~15 miles/~5300' to summits of 3rd/2nd Burroughs, and Skyscraper Mountain from White River Campground.

There is still snow at the steep spot immediately east of Skyscraper Pass. This bad runout can be avoided by climbing a bit, then descending the ridge crest just south of this area to rejoin the Wonderland Trail.
Sublime weather for this beautiful and long traverse (~5300' and ~15 miles) that began and ended at the White River Campground. Left Glacier Basin-Burroughs connector trail at ~6400' for navigation/rockfall avoidance practice in basin SE of 3rd Burroughs. Total time was ~10.5 hours with photos here.
