Windy Ridge and the Plains of Abraham
A hike along barren, blasted ridges to a pumice plain on the northeast corner of Mount St. Helens with incredible views of the Cascade volcanoes and surreal terrain. The terrain is exposed with very little shade.

Hike the Truman Trail traversing Windy Ridge for 1.7 miles before it turns into the Abraham Trail. The Abraham Trail includes a steep climb via a series of sand ladders.
