Vets Peak
A moderate scramble to Point 7157, informally named Vets Peak, that overlooks the North Cascades Highway about 10 miles east of Rainy Pass.
getting there
Drive US 2 and park where the highway crosses Granite Creek, about 3 miles past the East Creek Trailhead.
approach & ascent
Ascend forested slopes to attain the southwest ridge and follow it to the point at 7,120 ft that is immediately to the south of Vets Peak. Then follow the ridge to the summit.
