Twisp Pass
Twisp Pass is a strenuous, 9 mile in-and-out day hike with 2,460 ft in elevation gain. The trail goes up through forests and meadows to a pass below Twisp Mountain.
The trail ascends moderately through woods, crosses a log bridge over the North Fork of the Twisp River, scoots around the south side of Lincoln Butte and traverses a rocky slope to the pass (6,100'). Views of pyramid-shaped Twisp Mountain, Crescent Mountain and South Creek Butte are seen, as well as the lush forested valley below.
