Tillamook Head

Sea kayak from Seaside to Cannon Beach, or visa versa along the Oregon coast. It's a challenging 10 nm open coastal paddle around Tillamook Head with a shuttle back to the launch.

Launch at Seaside and paddle south to Cannon Beach, or launch at Cannon Beach and paddle north to Seaside. This is an open coastal trip with launches and landings in surf on open beaches. There  is a beach with walk in access that can be used for a lunch break, but very little other landing potential along the route. If conditions permit, paddle around the Tillamook Rock Lighthouse.
