Thunder Knob
An easy route, 3.8 miles, 650 ft. elevation gain. A small knoll above the SE end of Diablo Lake with nice views of the lake and surrounding summits.
Starting from Colonial Creek Campground, walk over Colonial Creek via seasonal bridges, into a forest on a gentle path to a promontory that has views above Diablo Lake.
