A private, nicely furnished, off the grid cabin near Randle, bordering the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and about an hour from Mount St. Helens, Mount Rainier, and Mount Adams.

about the cabin

This cabin has three queen beds and mats for 11 people to sleep in the loft.  It usually has running water and electricity and is heated by a large wood stove that also is for cooking.  The cabin overlooks a small tumbling creek with waterfalls, that also serves as the water and power supply. It is surrounded by 40 acres of forest and swamp land that can be explored and used for woodsy activities.  Access is by 2.5 mile private dirt road and 4 wheel drive is recommended.  It is close to many recreational opportunities, including those along the Cispus River, and at the Cispus Environmental Learning Center, Spirit Lake, Stevens Canyon, and White Pass. At an elevation of 1,500 ft, it is snow free except in exceptionally cold spells.
